What is SEO?

SEO refers to Search Engine Optimization, which is the process of optimizing a website or webpages in order to rank higher in SERPs and earn relevant traffic on certain keywords, search by the searcher.

We can divide the process of SEO into two parts, a) On-Page SEO  b) Off-Page SE




On-Page SEO: In On-page SEO we optimize individual web pages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines.
On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimized.

Off-Page SEO: Off-page SEO is called those techniques which focus on increasing the authority of your domain for which they depend on links from other websites. The biggest factor of Off-Page SEO is the number and quality of backlinks that point to your website

Above all are for giving you some knowledge so that you can understand the following properly & easily. Now let's come to the point

1. Google My Business: If you are doing SEO for ranking in Google Search Engine, then Google My Business (GMB) is one of the top-ranking factors. Your GMB page must optimize by selecting the proper category, name, images, etc. that reflects your business or service.


2. Social Bookmarking: Sharing your website, blog, or video link on any social media and other bookmarking sites is called social bookmarking.
Social bookmarks tell search engine algorithms that your content is valuable. It helps in increasing your website DA  and improve your ranking on the search engine result page as well.


Tips: Bookmark your website page in at least 15 different social bookmarking websites in a month for a better result, but don't create all those bookmarking in just 1 day. SEO is a regular process.
 
Let me explain to you with a brief example; if your website has 10 pages,[ home, about us, services, etc.] don't bookmark all those web pages in the same month, instead of it bookmark it a month after a month in the same 15 website which is in your list.

3. Blog Promotion: Blog promotion is just as important as writing a good blog. If You think that the user or visitor will come to your site and read your blogs then you're wrong. You have to keep a space for 'blog promotion' in your off-page strategy. Blog Promotion helps in a) Driving traffic from new audiences  b) Bring back existing audiences c) Attract backlinks to your site

Tips: There are different ways to promote your blogs for free. You can Bookmark your Blog link same like social bookmarking, share your blog posts on social media right when you publish them, create an image as a promotional post and post it on Pinterest with proper title & description, and most important your that blog link', if you are doing off-page for a brand and handling its LinkedIn page, you can post there too.

4. Classified Submission:  Classified Submission is basically a process by which you can submit free or paid ads on classified submission sites. By this method, all the potential buyers and business persons come to your website by clicking the link.

Tips: Submit at least 2 Classified in a month for your brand, on different sites. You can also submit the classified in the same sites again if the site allows you [ with the same id & name] and there is any expiration of your ads

5. Business Listings: Business listing forms a part of off-page SEO. It is an online entry of your business that contains the Name, Address, and contact of the business along with other necessary details.

Tips: Create or submit at least 3 business profiles in different months. Before you create a business profile, keep information about that business, together with the logo, three or four images, owner name, address, website, etc, in a notepad. Whether it is a product-based or service-based company, you need all information to make your listing proper for SEO results.

6. Press Release: Press Release is an off-page SEO strategy the bits of help popularize your events, products, or services on the web to improve the SEO of your site.

Tips: You Can Submit only 1 Press Release, once a month on a good press release site. If you want to submit your press release for free, I will suggest you to submit it on Prsync or Prfree You can use your website link as an anchor link in your press release, but don't use too many links, 2 links will be ok. A good press release is about 300 to 400 words with all information about your business or service.

7. Video Submission:  Video sharing or submission offers a way to promote your business in the form of video to a large audience. 

Tips: Keep in mind before creating a video that ' how it will help my audience, don't create the video only for promotion. Create a short video with a minimum of information about your product or services. You can also create a video that matches your product or services.

8. Image Submission: Image submission in SEO involves leaving images related to your website in different image sharing or submission sites. It involves choosing the right image, alt text, file format, and description, etc. Popular sites include Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumbler, etc.

Tips: The most important thing in case of image submission is 'Alt Tags', you must provide alt tags for images you post on social media. write a proper description for the image, which is related to it. If the site allows you to put your website link with your post and is clickable, put it for sure, except on Instagram.

9. PDF Submission: PDF submission is one of the methods of off-page SEO in which we share the PDF version of content or document for people or users, by this your website gets a backlink to your site.

Tips: Whenever you create a pdf for off-page, must include proper images & website links in that pdf. It creates more chances to crawl your pdf fast by the search engine spiders. Issue is the one best free pdf submission site.

10. Infographic submission: An infographic is a collection of imagery, charts, and minimal text that gives an easy-to-understand overview of a topic. infographics use striking, engaging visuals to communicate information quickly and clearly. Infographics, when used together with other web elements, facilitates higher ranking in search engines.

Tips: Choose good sites with higher DA  for your infographic submission, write awesome content for an awesome infographic, make sure your infographics receive proper attribution.
