TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL EMAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGN

We receive a lot of emails in a day, some of them are Personal, Social, and Promotional emails. Mainly emails that come to our inbox are Promotional. I don't know about your inbox but my email inbox is filled with lots of unread promotional emails.

We don't read all the emails, even we don't open it, and without open it some of us delete it. How many of you do this? Let me know in the comment section...😜

People engaged in Email Marketing know the value of emails [Promotional or marketing emails]. Promotional emails needs a lot of planning and strategy. But Many of the send emails either go into the spam folder, not open, or delete by the receiver.

A successful email marketer should think to design the email in such a way that the receiver of the email forced to open the email and benefited.

In this blog, I am going to give you some tips that will help you run a successful email campaign with good leads.

#1 Subject lines

When you send someone an email, the subject line will be the first thing they read, and ultimately, it will click in the mind of that person whether open or not to open the email. Make a subject line that will really grab the attention of the receiver. Remember people open email because they want to get some benefit from it.

#2 Make it personal

You may hear or read in some blogs of Digital Marketing tips that "Personalisation is the key to Digital Marketing" It is very true. It seems like such a simple thing, but using a person’s name in the subject line, or within the email, can really make a difference. Everyone wants to hear their name and when the name of the receiver in the subject of the email, it makes them feel special, which increases the mail open chances.

#3 Think about how you write

People don't want to read anything which is too long. Tell me did you like to read your History Book? So, Keep your mail body short and snappy, and write the email almost like you would normal web copy. Don’t be afraid to use bullet points, short sentences, and subheadings to break up the text. This all boils down to readability!

Sorry! Don't blame me, because I am also writing a long blog, but it is for giving you and my other readers clear knowledge & help..😋😄

#4 Don’t be too excited

When you’re working on an email marketing campaign, you’ll more than likely want to shout about it. And when I say shout, I mean using ALL CAPS and loads of exclamation points!!! However, this will give your email a spam-look, which will ultimately affect the open rate.

#5 Include links and calls to action

The aim of most email marketing campaigns is to increase traffic to a site, sometimes a specific landing page. No clicks means no customers -- it really is that simple.  Always try to include visually striking buttons with text that give readers more than one opportunity to interact (e.g., Find out more! Download Now! etc.).

Finally,

#6 Make it Mobile Friendly

When you plan to design an email campaign, make sure that your email should be mobile-friendly.In fact, 66% of email opens occur on smartphones or tablets. If your emails are not optimized for viewing on mobile phones and tabs, you’re potentially missing out on a huge number of clicks.
